Prompt Response: Over the last week, I have definitely gotten more used to the way our American lit class works. I have grown to like writing a lot more in the last week, with having to write daily prompt responses. A challenge I anticipate as the year progresses is doing at-home reading that's assigned in class. I do not enjoy reading, especially if it's a class assignment.

Summary: We started off class with a fire drill that lasted around 10-15 minutes. We then proceeded to take our origin myth quiz, on which I scored an 85%. We then reviewed our quiz as a class and went over all the correct answers.

Reflection: Today I learned about how to act if there were to be a level 3 fire drill. I did know previously but I have forgotten over the years.

After reading “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?

Prompt: As you grow older and face new experiences, what issue or topic do you think you'll have to stand up and debate most often, whether with friends, family, or society?

Describe a single, specific incident that felt ridiculously bold or foolish. Ensure your response is vivid, concise, and captures the essence of absurdity.
