Prompt: Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).

Prompt Response: the most difficult part on the simile and metaphor work sheet would be creating my metaphors. I always thought metaphors were easy to make but I was wrong. Having to create 6 different ones about myself was a challenge. I had to relate real-world things I have experienced and compare it to something completely random. Next time I'm going to work on making my comparisons more specific. For example I'm going to not just compare myself to a dog but instead I would name a specific type of dog that relates more to the meaning of the metaphor.

Summary: In class today we created a poster based on our simile and metaphor worksheet.

Reflection: This helped me strengthen my skills on created metaphors.
