Prompt: What is the best piece of advice of that your parent or guardian has given you? Tell what the advice was and what prompted you to ask the question.

Prompt Response: One time I was having issues with my friends leaving me out and I was pretty upset about it. My mom then told me to think about how those people treat me and that if they wanted me there they would go out of their way to invite me. She then went on to say that even if they're funny, nice, and kind occasionally, when I see them, doesn't make them my friends. If people can't go out of their way for you then you shouldn't go out of your way to think about them. This really helped me and made me realize that some people are just not ment to be in my life and that some friends really are temporary weather I want them to be or not.

Summary: In class today we went through the lines of our new poem and discussed what they all meant.

Reflection: This helped me work on understanding the deeper meaning sin poems.
