Prompt: What is the most challenging part of writing an essay for you? Is it brainstorming, organizing ideas, writing a strong thesis, or something else? How do you plan to overcome this challenge?

Prompt Response: The hardest step of writing an essay for me is having my commentary connect to my thesis. Typically, whenever I have my evidence, I will get off track and forget that everything must lead back to my thesis. Also, creating a strong thesis can be a struggle, because it's the first step, and I have a hard time getting started on things.

Summary: Today in class, we completed the rest of our paragraph on writable.

Reflection: This activity helped me to learn how to write a rhetorical analysis.
