Prompt Response: The most clear compelling issue of the topic is the idea that population growth has become the downfall of earth as we know it. My research down in GALELIO allowed me to find more reliable in depth research that can't be found in a typical Google search. From my research I found that humans love for over consumption has majorly affected our Earth atmosphere, by increasing production of products which leads to green house glasses being released.

Summary: We started an assignment where we had to pick out the best sources out of our groups.

Reflection: This helped me better understand my sources and how they relate to my topic.

Prompt Response:  A moment in my life that felt like the begining of a powerful story was my first misison trip. Every summer my church takes a group of teens on a misison trip, my first mission trip was at the borde rof Texas. I had no phone, no tv just service work. Prompt Response:  I learned a lot throughout the 1st semester. My favorite topic has been poems; I feel that they're engaging and keep my attention. In most classes, I'm not usually the one to answer questions; rather, in this class, it's different. In American lit, I feel that there is typically more than one right answer to the question, which keeps me thinking and helps me get creative. My favorite assignments were the ones that required drawing and finding deeper meaning in different poems; it kept me intrigued. I do still feel that I need to work more on personal writing, in preparation for writing my college essay. Prompt Response:  I spent my break with the flu, but was still able to enjoy it because I was surrounded by my family. I got a chance to see my grandpa and cousins, whom I see only once or twice a year, which made my Christmas. The goals I would like to achieve this year are to become more organized, drive alone on the highway, babysit more, and find a new hobby. Each of these goals is important to me because they all help to grow responsibility and give me more ways to use my free time rather than being on my phone. 1.
