Prompt: After viewing your classmates’ digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on your work, what new ideas or perspectives did you gain about your poster? Reflect on how the feedback influenced the way you think about your creative choices and describe what you learned about the creative process while designing and presenting your poster.

Prompt: The comments that were made on my post helped me to realize that pictures and designs bring a poster all together. I had multiple comments about my well designed poster and perfectly picked pictures. I carefully designed my poster in order for it to be well organized and easy to read. this made it where people are focused more on the metaphors and similes rather than if my poster is messy and boring looking. I also spent time choosing specific pictures for each device, to help explain the moral meaning of each metaphor or simile. This makes it where my classmates are able to gain a better understanding on my devices if it confused them at all. Summary: Today in class we commented positive feedback on our classmates posters. Reflection: This made me realize that I relate to more of my classmates than I thought.

Prompt: Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).

Prompt Response:  the most difficult part on the simile and metaphor work sheet would be creating my metaphors. I always thought metaphors were easy to make but I was wrong. Having to create 6 different ones about myself was a challenge. I had to relate real-world things I have experienced and compare it to something completely random. Next time I'm going to work on making my comparisons more specific. For example I'm going to not just compare myself to a dog but instead I would name a specific type of dog that relates more to the meaning of the metaphor. Summary: In class today we created a poster based on our simile and metaphor worksheet. Reflection:  This helped me strengthen my skills on created metaphors.

To soak in every moment of the break Sunday night I went with my friends to get Menchies frozen yogurt. This made me excited to see all my friends at school but sad I actually had to go to school. But there's much to look forward to with prom and spring break. Summary: In class today we read a poem and identified it's similes and metaphors. This helps form deeper connections. Gifts, I love gift giving, it lets my loved ones know I'm thinking about them and want to make them happy, which makes me happy. Clothes, I always offer up and share my clothes to anyone who needs it when I know someone doesn't have something to wear. We would spend the day tanning, tubing, jet skiing, etc. We would eat hamburgers on the doc, blasting country music without our phones and just talk. We would end the night with a crab boil and then go for a night swim, drive around, play music and watch horror movies. Luckily iv'e actually lived this day, and it was the best day ever. Prompt: What is the best piece of advice of that your parent or guardian has given you? Tell what the advice was and what prompted you to ask the question.

Prompt Response:  One time I was having issues with my friends leaving me out and I was pretty upset about it. My mom then told me to think about how those people treat me and that if they wanted me there they would go out of their way to invite me. She then went on to say that even if they're funny, nice, and kind occasionally, when I see them, doesn't make them my friends. If people can't go out of their way for you then you shouldn't go out of your way to think about them. This really helped me and made me realize that some people are just not ment to be in my life and that some friends really are temporary weather I want them to be or not. Summary: In class today we went through the lines of our new poem and discussed what they all meant. Reflection:  This helped me work on understanding the deeper meaning sin poems.

Prompt: What is the most challenging part of working in a group? Discuss a time when a group assignment did not go as well as you planned and how you learned from that experience.

Prompt Response:  The most challenging part about being in a group project is when your classmates can't take the project seriously. I'm currently doing a physics project and my classmates I'm working on the project with are refusing to do work. They think that since I'm taking lead on the assignment that I will do it for them. My classmates even after I've talked to them about contributing more, they continue to take it as a joke. Luckily the project is almost completed but it is still unfair that I will get the same grade as my classmates even though they didn't contribute. Summary: In class today we took notes, did a writable assignment, and then we graded 3 different essays. Prompt Response:  The hardest step of writing an essay for me is having my commentary connect to my thesis. Typically, whenever I have my evidence, I will get off track and forget that everything must lead back to my thesis. Also, creating a strong thesis can be a struggle, because it's the first step, and I have a hard time getting started on things.  Summary: Today in class, we completed the rest of our paragraph on writable. I build stronger connections with my friends, God and myself every trip. Summary: In class today, we took notes and started a rhetorical analysis paragraph on MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech.
